This is one of my favorite still life images. I don't know long this vase has been in our family. It wasn't even out in our house, it was up put away in the kitchen. Even on set that day in class I was trying to shoot these color glass candles and had just brought the vase as a back up and my assistant for that day was like, " what are you doing this vase is a star" and we shot it. Good thing I had bought it as a back up.
